Turbo gearing help?
« on: July 25, 2018, 11:39:29 AM »
Beating the dead horse Iím sure. But my turboed 08 is street driven. Weekend drag strip. 66.5Ē I think which I might change a lil bit with the new arm. But 19 up front, 52 on the rear Iím crossing the 1/4 at the top of 4th. I was just told itís like a 2.75 overall gearing which is super high in the 1/4 mile?? He was surprised Iím not crossing in 6th gear lol so at 256hp and 205lbs what would you guys run? Opinions welcome. Launching is still in the works. But hereís a vid https://youtu.be/JPnDasPvOBE

My bike is around 19/46 and it crosses in 6th. Slightly more HP though.
Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.
