Busa Over Heating
« on: September 04, 2018, 10:32:26 PM »
2000 Busa over heated at track. Boiling out overflow tube. Check fan with 12 volts and it worked. check fuse and it was bad. Replaced fuse, started bike and fan came on 1/2 way on gauge(normal).
Tested engine temp sensor at room temp for resistance, was (1.56 and heated it to.008) good per manual. Has no thermostat and using Evan Coolant. Running this set-up for years with no problem.
put water in bike, looked in radiator and water flowing so looks like pump working. No water in oil!
Any idea what problem my be????    :bh: :bh: :bh:   Ride on track only!

 Cap
Have a Harley, spent lots of money on it, thought I had a fast motorcycle, bought a Busa, realized all I had was a fast Harley, not a fast motorcycle!
