I only put new tires on the old girl, I might also replace the drive chain...Let me know how you like the new coils when you try them out.

Have had a plug and play megasquirt for a few years that the OEM wiring was letting down
the Megasquirt is susceptible to voltage variations in input voltage
I was getting a slight drop that kept recycling the ecu

I took one of the 5 oem harnesses and cut all the connectors off and am making my own

Cool, let us know how it turns out...I did look into the megasquirt a few years back, but decided to stick with stock flashed ECU..

I go back and forth between the mega squirt and Flashed ECU. Day by day.  Hour by hour.   Takes me 10 minutes to swap. With all the old harnesses around I thought a dedicated harness would be cool

Cool, get her ready for summer...I'm compiling a list of thing to get in the next four weeks...new battery, this one is going on three years, a spear set of rubber; I only get 1500-2000 mile per set, I use shinkos 003 ultra soft stick like glue, wears out quick, new boots and gloves..

full spectrum has a 720 cca version that works amazing... i went through 3 batteries(along with stator/regulator stuff) in the quest to have a 100 percent reliable bike... the stock battery laughed at me.... and one other drag racing lightweight battery couldnt start it every time either.... im finally happy with the 720 cca version.

When you say a stock battery laughed at it.  I will bet you a adult beverage that thru the wiring you are losing a bit of coil voltage

u may be right.... i jusy know the microtec/ams2k/water pump for intercooler/air pump that blows up the swingarm/ extra fan.... are a lot of stuff to power... and i dont want this bike embarrasing me at work.(with a no-start).
