Cool thanks, I didn't hurt the engine much i was only going about 5MPH, I'm running Carrillo H-Beams so that help, my buddy came with the trailer and got me home. I got her running now put about 260 miles on her after i changed the plugs and oil, she seems to be running good. will never do that again.

what the hale, how deep you go up to the rain air tube inlets? really the only way to get water in the cylinder that i'm aware of.. WOW

when its that deep best to get off a push, save the motor? man... fuel lock or water lock?

The road was flooded, but i could still see the road surface, didn't look deep so i decided to go for it, was almost on the other side when she cuts off, road surface dipped and the air filter hit the water, sucking water up through the turbo, hydrolocking it...good thing is i was only doing about 4MPH, so i didn't damage the rods or bearings, won't take that chance again, learn my lesson.  :?

Could have been a lot worse...On my blown Taurus SHO, had 1 of the 100lb injectors hang open on startup......broke the crank.

aw fuck lower inlet with a turbo, man that sucks, sounds like you need a turbo snorkel in your parts, might be ok if you dint try to spin it over till it was drained?

ya could just rig up a snorkel with 4" PVC and a rubber to metal mount at the turbo inlet.. man

use one them big NHRA type scoops too, point it forward so it acts like ram air at speed.. folk will know you mean business
