Wednesday (4/2/03) and Thursday (4/3/03) are going to be off the chain!! I'm going to easily put two hours each day on my bike, maybe more. I cannot wait!! I know y'all will be out there too. Be safe and enjoy the riding.

Fast

P.S. Did any of you ever go to the Chicagoland Freaknics? If so, will those ever happen again? Those were some good times. What can we do to put something like that back in place?

I visited the Freak Niks when I was in school.
One of the wildest craziest events I saw.. Seemed like bikes from everywhere..

I think one was in the Meadows near Maywood & the other was in a park in a suburb that I forgot. The Meadows was too small & the last suburb was overwhelmed by all the traffic.. A lot of incidents also..

So the guy that organizes it couldn't get a permit from any city

The second one was in Schiller Park, IL. It was a catastrophe with all of the traffic but it was  a lot of fun once you got in.

Those kinds of parties are cool but I think they have to be done right in order to be thrown successfully. I would like to see them come back but they would probably have to take place in some remote area miles away from Chicago.
