My -99 Busa, which has run about 22500 miles seems to take take oil. I use Motul 300 V 15/50 full synthetic, I change oil and filter every 3750 miles. I fill oil to upper limmit on the inspection window, and then after 3750 miles the oil level seems to have sunken to the lower limit. Is that normal consumption???

If memory serves me correct it's about 1 quart per every 3500 miles....So you right where you should be

One thing to note is that it's only 1/2 a quart from the "F" mark to the "L" mark in the oil level sight glass.

So, you only burned 1/2 qt is amost 4000 miles ... or 1 qt every 8000 miles. That's actually pretty low oil consumption.
