race gas mixture?
« on: August 03, 2003, 09:19:00 AM »
I will soon have a 13/1 1363 kit and was wondering if I can mix some 93 octane gas with some 110? Is that feasable? I don't want to run straight race gas but also don't want to run  just premium.
previously owned a 01 blk/gry Busa little of this little of that...oh yeah and a ghetto turbo 320horse/200ft.lb. 8.92@169
Bikeless....for now.

Yes you can mix the gas.  you could run VP and 93 c12 and 93 works good.  Are you going to sray Nitrous??  if not you can run 93 with 13:1.

are you shooting a 60 shot? I see you have the progressive controller.

Does anyone mix in Xylene and run it in their bike?  I'm not sure what the recommended ratio is, but I know people do it with cars.

cheaper to buy race fuel....but xylene will boost the octane up a little (104 octane boost is xylene)and it will boost it from like 93 octane to 93.7 octane
induction by velocity.....
