My 03 Busa with 1400 miles stalls while riding. I'm not even shifting. Anybody know why?

I think it idls a bit rough, but I thought Busas were known for that. Revs nice. When it stalls, its normally at around 4000-5000 RPM. Just today it stalled twice while on the expressway. One of those occasions, I was slowing down from about 90. Don't know what vacum lines are.

Could be a lot of things but I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the TPS (throttle position sensor) was bad.

that sounds strange. you should go see your local dealer. vaccuum lines are the little rubber hoses coming off the throttle bodies. it sounds like you might do more harm than good messing with things if your not mechanically inclined.better to be safe.

Hey Ravenceo, what did the dealer say the problem was?

I, have a 1999 busa that's doing the same thing.

DRE

the throttle bodies needed adjusting. I haven't had the problem since the dealership did that to it.
