I was wondering who has had experience using the JE 85 mm pistons in a Busa. Are there any special setup requirements for the larger pistons and how does the head gaskets hold up? How reliable are they? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for that info. I have already spoken to him on his motor and I think his problem was related to extremely high compression. The JE 85mm are only 12.5/1 which shouldn't be too bad. Any other input out there?

I would go with the 12to 1 wiseco pistons. I have had less starting problems with them.

Does Wiseco make a 85mm piston for the Busa?

Yes, They make 85mm with 12/1 compression. I had no starting problems with 12/1 compressions.

only problems youll have is heat if you ride on the street with 85 mm.

they have a special gasket its called the h.p. searies with a floating o-ring, spring steel .. cometic ..check it out
