hi everyone,
i'm new to the hayabusa world so forgive the newbie question. i'm using a hayabusa 1500cc motor prepared by powertec in the uk, in a radical sr3 sports racer. i race the car in scca c sport here in the us.
my questions are: what are the basic differences in the stock motors over the last three years('01,'02,'03)?
is the 1500 cc motor a product of stroking and boring, or just stroking?
what kind of engine life should i expect? what are the weak points of this motor? the factory is claiming about 50 hours between rebuilds....does that sound right?
any links or info would be greatly appreciated.
