I would suspect that a company with the resources of Yoshimura would experiment with pistons, but I have never seen them advertised until now.

That drys sump oil pan looks like something my mother could weld up.... not pretty....
 

Yoshimura has in the past offered ART ( like OE ) pistons and Cosworth pistons.  
They use ART on the Hayabusa X1-R.
Just like orginal pistons but Flat top.

Yosh is funny like that. my buddy gets a lot of stuff from Yosh that you and I would never even know exist. Some stuff they don't even offer to the public-racers edge.

I had Yosh pistons in my GS 1000 Superbike road race bike back in 1979.  They were slipper type pistons and excellent quality.

A bit pricey I think thats almost half of going big bore and really how much more power are ya gona get for the dollar spent?
