Block?
« on: February 09, 2004, 01:18:00 PM »
I have ran some searches and found some good info but stll have a few qestions.

I want to build the motor to the upper 1300 cc range with bigger pistons but want to know if I can have the stock block punched out & replated.  Would this cause excessive heating (I know it will run warmer to some degree and I will not sit in traffic)?

Several shops on this site offer 1397 packages.
If done properly it will be pretty much "trouble free",just don't go with too much compression or
you'll have starting issues.
