megacycle vs. yoshimura cams

how much horsepower difference is there between yosh stage1 and megacycle385/385 cams on a 1397 motor with a mild clean up on the head?Would any of you sell yosh cams to buy the megacycles?I've got the yosh cams and they seem to work well but I hear a lot of talk about the bigger megacycle cams?I plan to go with a 1390 and wonder should I just leave yosh in the bike.Any help is appreciated?

Personally I would just keep the yoshes. I think the mags are worth 5more horse. If you only had to pay $200 more then what you could sell your yoshes for that wouldn't be bad. There are a few guys on here running 8's with the yoshes and 1397 pistons.

hey im setting up that same combo, with the yoshes istead of spending the money on the other cams for maybe little to no gain i would spend it on a mild clean up on the head.. just my .02$

ironic that i wrote that reply only to have to replace the yoshes with megacycles..
due to a broken intake cam (my stupidity)..

This seems crazy to me! 8 sec on a set of yoshi cams
