MH -
I was comparing the Koenig pan capacity against the cut down pans. I believe it does hold more oil than these.

Are you comparing against the stock pan?

Sorry for any confusion.

Thanks

bigbird, just wondering how much you removed from the stock pan and how much you took off the pick up.I seen an artical in the Feb 2002 issue of Cycle World. One of the featured bike's was the NLR race bike.It has a modified stock pan. This artical is what gave the Idea to do my own pan.

Ben I been thinking of wiring a time relay to the oillight so when I start the engine I can turn on the relay. If the engine losses oil pressure for only split second it will still continue to stay on until it's reset.  BTW. what your wheelbase.

Ben I want add wheelbase if you want add more boost. Yell right    Ben I can't see how removing 3/4" from oilpan and giving up 3or4 oz.oil is going to make or break an oil system. Maybe we should treat this like nitrous or boost just keep stepping it up little by little to we find the eage or in this case keep triming the pan to the oilight flickers.Any body up to removing an 1"

I'm new to the hayabusa. Does it have a lube problem like the zx11 and #3 journal? I keep the zx11 oil at top of window. Bought wrecked Busa and don't want to cook it.
