oh yeah & I hear t.t.s. advertise 12% but other companies sell them & say they are made by the same manufacturer but they are 7% over, are there actually two diff. sets(ratios)out there.

o/d gears will allow steep sprocket gearing without loosing top speeds
yes there are 2 diff ratios out there\

I generally sell to the States the 12% top and 7% 5th gears, not many people ask for the 7% top but I have them in stock.

understood.probably much more beneficial on turbo application where you have some delay before major air flow so you can gear it cater to any small losses on bottom & major gains when spooled, less beneficial w/large motor where you have more linear power delivery,Ive tossed this around & its kinda hard to justify the cost on all motor(imo).Maybe Im just talking myself out of it now

I have three (3) engines with the TTS 12% (or 11%) overdrive, and find they are well worth the cost, as long as the engine is open on the bench anyway.

With my turbo bikes, it gives the option of using gearing (with sprockets) that I cannot get with the stock transmission ratios.  20/36 is about the tallest one can use with the stock front sprocket area, and 36 is about the smallest rear sprocket that can be used with the stock rear wheel.

With an all motor bike, especially one for the street, it gives a nice low-RPM high gear for highway cruising.

40 mph huh thanks speed king if i rember right i thought 70 for me was about 3000 rpm i could be wrong i know if i could keep my bike under 3000 rpms the milage was considerbly better but after this 1360 kit i'll have to see if i could at least maintain 32 mpg on the highway i;d be happy

Outright, no exchange, this was supposed to be done in time for the first event of the year at Bonneville and I just got it two weeks ago...I have already put that engine in the bike and ran it..

This unused one is for sale.
