19/37  You know me, gotta go gotta go.

O/D gears?  Hell man, I only have 300hp right now on the N2O.  There isn't space here in Toledo to wind out the 19/37's.  When I can do that, I'll install O/D's

17-42 with OD gears and Extended ECU.
I went a little faster on 17-39 but 17-42 are more fun with "only" 239 rwhp
I dont know what I am talking about but I do know that I am right :)

What modifications did you need to make to fit the 20 tooth sprocket?

Dennis,

Thanks for the info.  What size rear sprocket do you use with the front 20 on street bikes?

I believe that Dennis uses the 20 front and 42 rear sprocket.

ya 42
try staying large on the rear
keeps it from skipping overthe rear sprocket  on high boost

Dennis, how many links you running on your chain with 20/42... I assume your running a longer chain or your wheel base would be up as short as possible.  or are you running an extended swing as well ?

There is a post on 200mph on the gear ratios in a close ratio 6-speed gearset that is pretty interesting.  I can't transfer it but I'm sure someone can.  It is in the Dragracing,Turbo and Nitrous forum.

From 200 mph:

Here are your ratios Steve
Percentage drop     Stock Percentage
1st gear  13-33
                                  23.7                             25.9
2nd gear 16-31
                                   16.8                             21.2
3rd gear 18-29
                                    11.8                            15.8
4th gear 19-27
                                    9.5                              11.6
5th gear 21-27
                                     8.1                              8.2
6th gear 22-26
Overall reduction         53.4%                          60%
If you change singular gears rather than the box check the percentage drops as that will give you an indication of usability.  The gears are pre race prepped ie 3 dogs etc.
I dont know what I am talking about but I do know that I am right :)

16/43 at the drags with the slick

19/40 for top speed. Don't have enough power to pull em...yet.

16/40 just running around (good wheelie gears)

18/40 which has taken me to 207mph very quickly.  had the 19/41 running for a while, and might got back to it next sprocket and chain change.
