Just thought you would all get a kick out of seeing who the "Sultan of Speed", "Mr. Motorcycle" Scott Guthrie really is, aka TZ750.
   

Above is part of his stable of racing mchines.  This man holds over 200+ Land Speed Records.  WOW!

I also appreciate his acting as an ambassador for his sport of choice. His bringing us news and interesting tidbits is something I look forward to when I see his tagline.

Rob Bush is a pretty neat guy himself.  Although Maxton is kind-of second-line for him, he really knows something about going pretty fast there.  And he's one of the first motorcycle Maxton 200 MPH Club members.

One meet a few years ago, I left a little early (trailored up at Sunday noon, last run was to be at 2:00 pm), feeling very satisfyed with myself, having gone 210+MPH with a stock-body, all motor hayabusa.  When I left, I was the fast vehicle of the meet. (foreshodowing......)

Well, by the time I got the news letter, I had heard(this was before internet reporting of Maxton results-all phone.)that Rob had eased in just after I left.  In less than 2 hours, Rob unloaded, teched, tuned, rode and stole my trophy with a fabulous 212 MPH run!

               

He's a great racer!

I'm with you Guy, Scott is the real deal.  He gave me advice on how to race better and I ended up breaking his record for the 1350PP class.  

Very classy individual.
