This is what I call "Getting Down LOOOOOooooowwwww."

You can get this new LOW-C Carbon Fiber tank made from very, very lightweight CF for any year Busa, with or with bungs and they are clearcoated to boot.  I will be doing a rebuild article soon once the "Tiger " is done.  Just wanted to share what Santa sent from  Catalyst Racing Composites  in California.

And how about this new CF Hump, also clearcoated.  Way cool!

Santa was very good to us this year.  I will also be doing some tank comparisons for both Street and Track usage.

It holds 10 liters of fuel.  Yes, the seam is straight. No, this is not a special tank just for me.  It was made for an '01 and has a Nitrous Fuel bung in it.  Other than that, it is the same tank that you can enjoy on your bike too.

And Dennis, not everyone has gone down the Bonne salts with this tank.  Not everyone has your technical prowess and experience with it.  So how about you let me worry about the comparison information, OK?  Then everyone can see the riding height difference between all these tanks from the stock to the Low-C.

Only a few of us has had this opportunity to see all these tanks and I wanted to share it with the entire board.

Dennis,
You're still my hero!  By the way, that was a great shot of you roadracing in your special suit....How do you get any peripheral vision when racing that way?

Dennis, you're right.  Mikes products are definitely top notch.

We both are opinionated

I guess that happens when we get older.  Wasn't trying to upset anyone.

Wait until you see the whole ensemble put together.  Trying to convince wife of my need for an entire CF body, but with custom nose piece (my specs) for Maxton.

Motorhead.. well said! a very humble post. Nice site.. i'm a new guy and just floating around here a bit. I know some of these guys from Maxton.

Guy.. Nice tank, looks much better for what you are doing then the Airtech tank. Was very suprised to hear how much it holds too, thought it would be much less.
PS-nice blue saddlebags you have there by the way

The Quentin Robles CF tank is also a very nice tank and will end up on my street Busa with custom Paint work we just finished.  The Mike Verdugo tank will go on the "Tiger" for Maxton and the 1/4 tracks.  They both have specific purposes and are both CF.  I will get some comparison shots soon and incorporate them in an upcoming article on Dragbike.com so that you can see the difference between stock and the other CF tanks.  The Catalyst tank is strictly for the track.  Only holds about 10 liters or so I'm told.

I'll keep you updated.

the one on the website is their first version. this, I believe is the newest version, with land speed racing in mind. The previous is to meet AMA/Prostar, IHRA, NHRA "must be stock appearing needs."

Yes, I was very interested in the nose fairing.  My bike is stretched and raked, if it is a 1 piece deal, then I'll have to look for alternatives.
