OK, so from those who have gone, conquered (or been conquered)
1. what have you learned from your experiences that might help others?
2. what would you like to forget?
3. what are the imperatives to going as a first timer?
4. what things are easy to overlook from a bike perspective?
5. what things are easy to overlook from a preparation standpoint (truck, hotel, crew, food)?
6. what things are the tech inspectors going to look for that might not occur to a first timer?
Any input would be appreciative. I was hoping that collectively those here who have succeeded would share their thoughts and we might be able to comprise a "handbook" or "guide" to attract more bikes to race at Bonne, Maxton, Texas, El Mirage or if my plans come together, a 2005 spring race in Arizona.
