Facing South on I-95 go to your right on 74 or "West" The signs state Maxton Laurinburg exit. It is a 2 lane highway that becomes a 4 lane interstate By-Pass near Maxton. from there you have 2 choices. The 2nd exit off (NOW I-74) I believe states Maxton. Make a left onto this road and in a fairly short distance you will see a Sign with an Airplane across the street from the sing that you are leaving Beautiful Historic Maxton. Make a left down that road and keep bearing right at the turns and you will finally see the sign for the back gate to get in!

Also look on the ECTA's web site and they have directions also. (It is one more exit up the road and they have sign also to guide you to the place.

Directions to Laurinburg/Maxton Airport      

From North or south take I-95 to Exit #14 and Hwy. 74 West.

From East or West take Hwy. 74 (Do Not take 74 Business) to Laurinburg-Maxton Airport Exit (No Number).

At Bottom of clover leaf turn right (North) on Airport Road. Follow for .8 mile to intersection.

At first 4 way intersection with water tower on opposite side, turn right onto Skyway Church Road. Follow past Meritor Plant on left. Travel 1.2 miles to Hickman road.

At T-intersection with Hickman Rd. turn left. Hickman turns into Airbase Road, stay straight. Follow for a total of 1.5 miles to ECTA gate.

Turn left at gravel drive. Will have an ECTA sign up. This is the entrance for the Speed Trials. Follow around the corner to the Pit area.
