yea I know. do you think it's from those mile long wheelies, the 250+ drag strip passes or the many many times I've bounced it off the limiter? (top speed not from missing gears)

I thought it looked pretty good considering.

MOTORHEAD,
That's exactly what I'm gonna do Just have it polished up.

Man, you need a bigger shop.  Nice lookin' bike, but, you could, at least, peel the stickers off the frame.

Zeus, I'm getting BFH's arm, have the arm off of my bike if you need one.  It's unpolished, though.

frustrating night tonight. I've had the rod bearings sitting on the bench for two weeks and I wnet to put together the bottom end and realized that I didn't have all of the correct bearings    I had them for TWO WEEKS and didn't even think to check them.
oh well I haven't yet received my tranny and I'm also waiting on a seal and a shift fork for the tranny. I guess it all goes back together next week. I did get a chance to work on my undertail and hope to have a few pics up as soon as it's finished.

here are a few shots of the undertail project. I don't need no stinking tiger tail!!
total investment $12 and I have enough metal left over to do another one.

this is a picture of the rough cut of the undertail. I siliconed the edges to the stock plastic sides. I also ran a couple of self tappers into the rear cross support on the subframe. it's a tight fit. Thanks Jamie!

now this one shows from the top

now with some of the electronics test fitted.
