That plenum is a thing of beauty to behold!  I'd be wanting to relocate my gas tank ala V-Max style so it could be visible all the time.  Nice choice!

Hey Bill, How is that tail section mounted?
I have seen them crack if mounted in the stock bolt holes.
I'm gonna build a bracket in addition to the stock holes.
Dzus tab somewhere towards the rear for support.

well chris i just swapped the alum. subframe for a steel one . i cut the center bar out of the back where the seat latch was so i can really lower the bike down . it has the 2 forward body bolts mounting it to the subframe like stock , 2 brackets that come off of the 2 tabs that extend from the back of the subframe where the stock rear fender mounted extend down and bolt to the bottom of the extended tail .
the reason i went with a steel subframe is so i can weld a steel hoop to the top of the subframe that the highest point of the tail hump rests on so both downward and back force are supported .
of course the hoop will have to be padded and i had to go steel because a mig is all i have here.
ill be sure and post pics when its done . i still havent bought the steel for the hoop... probably scrounge through the steel at work tonight and see what i can snatch there .

Lookin' schweet with the lowering and the rake. Perfect stance for a busa! How much did you drop the front? Love the photo after the lowering!
