when are you leaving?
Go ahead ho, call the po-po.
It takes them 8 minutes to get here,

Bill, I'm off work (summer hours) and may stop over today.
What time do you go in to work?

holy crap ! i got my starter parts today . took mine and one with a bad set of field magnets and built a  good one after i freshened it all up and cleaned the brushes and armature and all that . notched the bolt holes for full gear contact and added a schnitz titanium case saver .
the 24 volt setup is unreal ! bike cranks like the plugs are out of it .
overkill ? yes . but isnt it all

allways fukkin somthing.... i just went to start it and it blew the whole starter clutch cover assembly apart . the cover that goes over the starter clutch is now in about  pcs and the little cover that goes over the idler gear is missing an ear . its looking like the 1 of the 2 bolts that hold the starter down vibrated loose . probably allowed it to twist enough to wreck it all to hell . thank god i have a case saver on it !
god fukkin dammit.. this shit aint sposed to happen with a low comp motor .
matt , get your parts yet ?

got most of the bugs worked out . still need some t-body blades or t-bodies (i bent mine popp'n thru the intake when the starter broke) . runs good just wont idle too well .
i just need to try to find the time to get it to dennis to get the secondary fuel system finish wired (he has my injector harness) and dyno tune it .
summers getting past me ....

what a purdy bike, if you like poop colored bikes, it looks like a faded 03 Anniversary bike? You leave it out in the sun too long Bill?

I'm just jealous, thats all.

bikes been running flawlessly . street manners with the DRAG PACK kit are outstanding and i feel i could ride this thing anywhere i choose for as long as i choose .
NOW....  got a new reason to dig back into it . ill be removing that pretty drag pack plenum and replacing it with an ultra plenum with a water/air intercooler hiding inside of it . fabbing an external heat exchanger and mounting a small water pump on the bike to circulate the water cooling the hidden intercooler . if i can make it work out im also going to put a water resevoir somewhere in the system that i can pack with ice for track passes . this setup should lower the intake charge like almost 200 degrees .
the ultra plenum should arrive sometime next week . ill post pics as things happen . still alot of money to spend and its already getting cold out so dont be in a hurry to see progress
