WET Install Question
« on: April 29, 2004, 11:28:22 PM »
I am about to install the NX wet system.

A few questions for anyone to answer -

1. Is there any reasons why the nozzles wouldn't fit in the boots instead of the head?

2. What can I use for a fuel outlet from the tank and how do you go about putting one in?

3. Where do you put the bottle? In the hump? Do you remove the siphon tube?

4. Are you running PCII and if so what map or do you just modify timing for WOT on existing map?

5. What jets are you running and how is is performing?

Thanks in advance

I had mine in the airbox two years ago
worked fine
full box mod, all long stacks 2 pound bottle under the hump
shoot me a e-mail and I will send you pics
I had them up on the board before , but I see they are not working now.
tried reposting them but I think snapfish is not allowing that

I will be glad to help you with any questions .

you will have a problem with all the hard lines on the NX kit that is why I went ahead and put mine in the head . Very easy to do , a 90degree drill works great . add a fuel bung to the exisiting fuel pump housing . I used a modded drain plug for an automatic transmission with a hose nipple screwed into it .  no welding neccesarry .

I have the NX kit and have already replaced my fuel pump it came with .
Im running size 20 jets on each side (fuel and N20)
with less than ideal bottle pressure it has run a best of 9.40
around 650-700psi in the bottle .
dont be afraid to heat the bottle .

Thanks Allen,

I don't quite understand what you mean about the fuel pump and the bung you used, do you have any pics of that.

Do you mean you put the bung exiting the tank or the EFI fuel pump.

Also is it cold where you are, what ambient temp was it to give you a 650psi bottle pressure, I have seen pressures around 800psi but not 650.

Thanks.

Col.
