Are you running yours on different injectors? I wonder if you can use this setup on say a pre-05 GSX-R1000 with only the 4 injector setup?

  Yes, on secondaries.
Lots of guys here are running MPS and PC on Primaries  (later model bikes)with no problems.

So if you have the MPS set to full rich mode, how much fuel did you add with the PC?

PC would be mapped for pipe, air filter, etc. all motor map and MPS FFI unit would go instant rich only ON Spray. Using  only Instant rich feature, with all pots set at zero.

So you had it set so the MPS only added fuel through 4 of the injectors? I have a buddy who wants to know if you can run just one MPS box on his 05 1000 without any PC?

Have you checked the a/f on the dyno with the MPS activated?

Yes, you can run mps unit on primaries with out PC .
Set the pots up for pipe, etc by manual instructions and instant rich would activate only when spraying.

Someone told me that with the 05 up 1000's you had to run two Power Commanders to add extra fuel due to the extra injectors. I guess if you only have to run one MPS, it will work fine. I ran a PC on a CBR600RR with a dry kit and it ran fine. Just bumped up the fuel on the top end and it was fine. It also has the extra injectors on top.

That's exactly what i've done with my set up MPS to control secondaries ,instant rich feature only for N20 use...... and PC to control primaries.
