possible High Speed Lift

I've been preparing for the May Maxton meet, checking out equipment/testing the N20 kit etc.. and have noticed that I'm getting "what feels like" the front of the bike lifting at speeds above ~195 GPS.  I'm running a completely stock '03 with only N20 and sprocket change. Of course, my running conditions aren't the greatest when it comes to level surface and winds.

Is the feeling of lift normal at these speeds :?:

Fastest 1-Mile Pass - 244.2997
Half Mile - 211.47

Unless you're growing wings on your back when you're tucked in, I'd say the "feeling" that you're getting is just that and not the  bike lifting. We would do highspeed runs for miles and miles on end and the worst that we would experience would be the crosswinds hitting us. I've never experience the front lifting at WOT. I can't see where the bike would have the power to lift the front once you've topped out. Hope that helps.

Yes, the front lifting in 4th when the N20 kicks in is just that .. the front end lifting.  However, in 6th; no way.

The high speed lift is probably just my imagination (or cross winds/head winds from the opposite 3 lanes) , but I'd rather ask than be sorry.

When you're riding WOT down the road, there are a million things going through your mind and every little bump and sound quickly gets your attention. Do it in moderation and by the time you get used to it you might even start thinking about "gee is the moon really made of cheese?" when you're running 220 indicated.

I would get home riding 300+ miles with the best people on the planet and our average speed was above 170 at the end of the day. Our highspeed runs would last almost 10 miles non-stop and all of it was done with a stock dampner. Looking back I have no regrets other than when the other guys went with 1397's and left me watching the tail lights on their bikes disappearing, "and that's when  I went turbo your honor..."

Give Dennis enough money, and you can lift the front end at 200 with your throttle.

I've experienced front end lifting on a 3 mile bridge on I10 coming from New Orleans...At about 75 MPH, I downshifted to 3rd and nailed it all the way to 6th...As my speedometer pegged I noticed my front end unloading and I immediately got out of it...At the time, I was lowered about 2" in the back and none in the front...I agree with MH...It can happen if lowered in the rear...

MH ask if the bike was lowered in the rear not that being lowered would make bike lift..(but maybe)l've only been 175.lowered front rear.

Maybe you ought to get with a suspension specialist and setup your suspension correctly.  Perhaps your rear ride height is incorrect or your shock is too stiff.
Just a suggestion

Good suggestion,  this weekend I'll talk to some of the fellows at Maxton and see what they suggest.
