depends on what you are looking for as far as 60' / overall ET. Your bike is really short for that amount of power, and the only way to control that is with lots of practice and a good suspension tune-up. start with making sure your ride height is correct which will cost you only time. next look into shock options. schnitz racing sells a new product that will improve your 60' time. it mounts to your factory shock and gives the same adjustability as some of the high dollar aftermarket shocks. it cost around $200 bucks. i don't know what type of riding skills you have so I'll suggest that you shoot for 1.45's to 50's on your 60' time. I am a little better than average with a longer bike and i shoot for 1.40's. I went through the same thing you are experiencing and it got better mainly with practice. you already no how your bike reacts with it's current gearing so stick with it so that you can see the suspension tune-up do it's thing. after you are sure it's not the rider or suspension change that front sprocket 1 tooth up and adjust the rear one so that your overall adjustment is 1 to 2 teeth down. (17/38 two under stock 18/40 three under stock) the 18 will hurt your 60' but pick up your mph.
