Glad I could help Vince.Nate is a nice guy with some very impressive credentials.He even did the tires on the fastest record holding open wheel motorcycle at Bonneville. :D  :D

So is the point to shave the side tread....and only leave the center portion?

Do you start with a good roadrace tire and send it off?

its to help disipate heat
which in 1 mile i have never seen a problem with
the salt spins alot and causes heat
never liked shaved bike tires :evil:
