Has anyone run the low profile or cutout seats on the street? They look to be nice for the track ,but how are they on an hour or so ride?

I've done a few for my friends, as well as for my own Busa . . .

When the seat is lower, you feel like your in the drivers seat, not on it .

Ok... I'm a moe.. but this is the second time in two days that someone has mentioned a Tobin seat.  Where can I see one? Did a google search and came up with nothing.

i am using one and it it does move you a little lower (1"- 2" maybe??) but i like it.  it also made the reach for the bars a little different (only notice after a long while).  but you are in teh bike and not on it for sure.  i like the way the bike feels now better than before.

what do you mean (after a long while) ? Does it make longer rides uncomfotable, it looks like it would put less pressure on youre/my rist therefore not causing my hands to fall asleep. The reason for the questions I have a 35 minute ride to work but like to run the bike once in a while, so if I need to buy another seat so I can put the stock one back  on for longer rides I will

The Tobin seat puts your nutz closer to the tank so your posture is more upright -- softer than factory and still has about the same thickness of cushion...

I had a gel seat installed by my dealer before I even saw my bike and that what I used for 1,500 or so miles.  Then I had Tobin do my stock seats and I was surprised to find that his seat is even more comfortable than the gel seat!  So along with a lowered butt, which takes weight off of your hands and wrists, I can honestly state that with 4,500 miles now showing on the odometer, the bike is even more comfortable and my butt has never become sore.

no not uncomfortable.. i have both tobin and stocker and leave the tobin on it.  i can tell after riding all day (here and there for 6- 8 hrs).  for me not being a bigger guy the reach is a little longer than stock but not even enough to tell (until hours of ridingi notice it).  nothing negative or bad about it.. just a little different for me. if something were to happen to my seat i would get another one for sure.  quality is top notch.
