I've always been a ZX12 guy but burnt another piston(nitrous) and bikes down right now.I bought my first Busa(turbo)and have a lot of information to read.Hoping you guys could help narrow my problems down a bit?
Stock 03 motor and electronics on a 99 bike with Mr Turbo kit.
1st problem-Bike won't shift with the air shifter at the track?Then tried another pass foot shifting and found a bunch of neutrals between gears?Does this sound like bent shift forks or shaft?I know when i started running nos on my 12 that i had to get the tranny cut and then it never missed a shift again.Is the Busa the same idea,if your running boost (7psi)you need tranny work so the airshifter will shift the tranny?It shifts fine on the street.Only other problem is the bat. turns the motor over slow even when fully charged and when you hit the boost on the street the fi light comes on but bike still runs fine?Any idea guys?
