Anyone thinking of Buying a pocket bike??
« Reply #75 on: October 17, 2004, 11:21:03 PM »
who cares though
the only thing is riding up and down the campus, around tons of people, (bringing it into class?), etc

but like i said i'm almost 100% that i don't care.  "i have one, you don't!" and then the other person breaks down and cries.

i don't care if they aren't street legal.  there's not any traffic that worries me.  i'll be going faster than it will, and i'll be staying on the sidewalks.

sucks for... me.  i'm saving up for what i think will end up being a 600.

Bad,Email Him,,Iam sure He will post another Buy it now auction??That guy bidding is funny..Probably going to pay more for it than He could of if someone else gets in on it!!!

And I'am really hoping its all for real..I already told Him,,I'am telling alot of people to Check Him out,I hope I'am not the one Who lead us all to get taken!!!!

But Like I said He wants to do it threw ebay  and paypal,A scammer would most likey Not,And with only a 5 rating,I highly doubt He stole that persons account!!

If You pay threw paypal maybe somethng can be done!!This guy was jerking Me around on Shipping a motor I bought(Not even threw ebaY)Funny How when pp puts a sieze on your account How it makes people get off their ass and ship quick!!

What time are they supposed to arrive at your houses? Or rather, how long does shipping+processing take?

Bad,He just posted 3 more!!

AZ Iam not sure,Its Coming from Cali..So probably 5-7 days??

And I've been reading up on these little suckers,I guess Before You even start them for the first time..You have to do a few things!!

They say clean out the gas tank and ad a in line filter,I guess plastic pieces are left in them from the factory and will clog the carb..

Also tighten all the bolts and lock tight the motor mounting bolts and a few others

Check and adjust brakes..making sure theres not to much drag
adjust handle bars to You comfort and liking

For the first few tank fulls go 50-1 ratio little rich to break in,after that go with the recommened ratio

Also don't go wide open right away, and let the motor kool down after the first few min riding it..Heat cycle it a few times..Theres more info on the Pocket planet web site..Thats just was I remembered..

I know its Just a small toy..But with My bikes being together all year(the first time thats ever happen!!)I'am looking forword to tinkering with something!! :D
