Thanks to everyone, when I started out Land Speed Racing I had set three goals, Fastest open wheel motorcycle record at Bonneville and El Mirage. Entry in to the 200 mph clubs (El Mirage and Bonneville) and to earn our AA license ( approved to race at speeds between 250-299 mph ) now that I have met my goals I will work more with helping others that have the same desire and determination that it takes to make this happen reach their goals/dreams.
I want Hank to get his AA as he puts in much more time, effort, and resources to help others. (myself included) Hank also saved us a great pit spot and his crack "team" was at the ready if anything was needed.
This could not have been done without Michelle, she is the inspiration that keeps me going, when I went through the 2 1/4 mile mark I looked at the GPS and I saw it read 250 mph I knew that I had accomplished my goal and that Michelle would be as happy or happier than myself, I think I started tearing up at that point and still had a few miles to go. When I saw the 256mph top speed reached on the on-board GPS I realised that I had finally conquered Bonneville!
Troy (RZ350) did and AWESOME job! ! (maybe Hank will give you the"good" bearings next time) little bugger got in to the highly regarded Bonneville 2 club! Way too GO ! !
