What is the deal on carpenters clutch mod

Is this a good mod. It is cheaper than brocks and I just occasional race. For 85 buck will this work good on a 04 since it already has the cushion installed.

Everybody has a different opinion,I have an 04 and I put a Brock cushion in mine and noticed no differance

Whats the mod and you must have damn good 60 ft times to run 9.5 @ 142. I use to run 9.7s @ 144 with 1.60 60fts.
