For those that are interested in riding over to STUNTWARS on Sunday with a group of us from Tampa...

Here's the skinny...
 
Time: 8:45am (1.5 hours to eat, gas up, do whatever before heading out)

There's another group meeting at the 7-11 off McIntosh and I-4 (2 exits east of I-75) at 10:30. Kickstands up at 11:00!
 
We will plan to link up with them for the ride over.

What a great day!
Absolutely perfect Florida weather... blue skies and 70 degrees.

We had 27 bikes joins us at the Cracker Barrel... most came in and had breakfast with us.
Then we linked up with a local club (Seductive Cycles) and picked up 18 more.
We rolled into Stuntwars with 45 Sport Bikes... very cool.
No tickets... No Drama.

When we got there, rolled right past the long line of cars and parked immediately.
There had to be at least 1000 sport bikes there... maybe many more... so hard to tell.

The vendors did a great job setting up their displays.
The live bands were cool.
The Motocross Freestyle guys were CRAZY!
More custom bikes than you could possibly count.
The Dyno machine had them lined up.

The Stunters were what you would expect at this level of a competition.
They completely trivialized my pathetic attempts at wheelieing...  :oops:

Lots of interesting sites...
All in all, a total success and a absolute great day spent with several thousand other motorcycle enthusiast.

Didja guys see me gettin a ticket after the show? What a f*cking idiot! Of course there were gonna be cops... I was comin back I4 afterwards and got pulled over by a statie who was hiding in the bushes under a bridge.  He clocked me at 96 in a 55 (I was on my way to my usual 120) he let me off because I told him someone was tailing me and I wanted to be outta there. He said "well you musta been well away from him because there was no one behind you when I clocked you."  My wife said "well it doesn't take too long to get to 96 mph on this bike..." Anyway he gave me a 77 in a a 65 zone. Nice guy. I shoulda known better after an event like that.  He said that it'd be only $80 instead of $330 - whew!

Everyone say "Thanks" to our local State Troopers!

Wow, I wrote this after a few beers:roll:, ikes I'll not do that again, was gonna delete but just edited...lol
