There is a story on the '04 World Finals in Super Streetbike magazine, March '05 issue.

It mainly focuses on team Falkner/livingston and our own Jason McVicar. Congrats Jason.  :thumb:

There are some photo's of the Ack Attack streamliner, and some text regarding it.

And it talks about John Noonan's accomplishments as well, there is a picture of John, but it seems to be from last year. Oh well, at least they got the average speed correct.  :thumb:

Congrats to both John, and Jason.  :kickass:

Hank, I didn't see your name in the article. On the bright side, that should help you keep a low profile.

The picture of John was of him sitting on a gray/black Busa with PM revolution wheels, and with a winter coat zipped up all the way, so all you could see was his nose.

It looked like a shot from the starting area.

Post a scan SE, I am sure the bike was from 03 with the revolutions, the bike was Silver and Blue..

I don't have the issue, I just looked at it at Barnes & Noble.

The bike in the picture wasn't blue/silver, as I recall it looked gray/black, maybe I'm color blind, (I should've bought the magazine).

It kind of confused me, because I knew you had the white Airtech bodywork at the '04 Finals.

And you had the end of a tie-down strap in your hand, your patented towing method to get to the start line.  :)

That's right in 04 we had the OEM AIRTECH style Bodywork in the front and the 00-01 OEM Blue tail section.  I have never seen another set of the PM Revolution wheels at Bonneville or El Mirage other than the bike I sold to "some guy in Florida"

Ya should bought the mag ya cheap bastid...

Yeah, I probably should have. Saving pennies for a turbo. 8)

Why don't you go buy it, you're in it after all, ya cheap bastid..

Did you ever have Gray/black bodywork on your Busa?.

Edited:
Now that I think about it, I'm sure it was blue/silver, just the early dawn light (or lack thereof) made it look black/gray.

Thanks for posting the pics Troy. I got the magazine, but my scanner seems to be having problems.

You can see why I was thinking your bike in the picture was a black/gray John, it was just the lack of light.    :D
