how much hp can a stock fuel rail take....?????????????i do recall hearing the injectors r good for about 250 or 300 hp with raised fuel pressure and the pump should be changed anyways but by the looks of the inside of the rail it looks big enough to support some serious hp......does anyone know approx how much hp the stock rail can support?????????

It's not the hp level,it's the max fuel pressure that the stock rail can handle.

i believe gary evans said he was running 95 psi thru stock injectors on his modified hahn kit for 302.4 HP, and that the stock injectors were at their limits, duty cycle wise. i'm not sure how much more pressure they could handle, or if that's related to your fuel rail question at all, but i thought i'd throw it out there.

thanx...that sort of did answer my question .....now i at least know that the injectors will give up before the fuel rail is maxed out...

That's your stock "smaller than a straw" fuel rail.

I'm changing mine, even after raising the fuel pressure , my motor starves for fuel on top.

I know were they sell them cheap

Is it the maximum pressure or the maximum volume that gets the stock rail????
