Todd- I still haven't met one hayabusa with EQUAL mods that's been able to dust me. I wasn't "dusted" or "Smoked" or "Crushed" or "Stomped" today...I was beaten by a small amount of distance, in which the bike I was racing did NOT pull on me after 1st gear. In both instances ... both my 12 and his busa were LOCKED at the same MPH. No dusting had occured....just a win. In the case of the piped busa....it still wasn't equal mods. As I've stated, that busa had one mod I didn't...and it's a substantial mod that probably was the reason he was able to stay locked with me.

Also, I remind you...I've NEVER been beaten by a Busa that wasn't tuned or ridden by ICEMAN. I have yet to lose to an untocuhed motor Busa that doesn't fall under that description.

Todd- Again, I ask you to post some credentials....what is your personal best 9/10th's MPH or Top Speed?

Why not have the Iceman tune your bike for you if that is what he does?

Question? What is "real world tuning" ?

Sounds like you guys had fun today!!!

Powerstroke- It's not my place to provide that helpful information. If the person who discovered this information wanted it to be shared, he would have done it already..... Hell, I don't blame him. He did all the R&D for this mod and has proven through testing that it works. Besides, even if I or he did tell you....none of you would believe it until you did tried it and saw the results for yourself. I'll give you a hint....a lot of you hurt your performance thinking you had gained some because the dyno showed you pretty #'s.

As of right now there are only 3 Busa's that have this mod....all of which are running substantially faster than those without this mod. It's been tried, it's been tested, it's been proven to make you go faster! I don't know how to perform this mod...but I know what it pertains to.

P.S- It's one of your own.

Blur- I'm in the process of waiting for him to tune by bike....He's a very busy guy these days...gotta wait in line for him to work on your bike. I'm starting to think he might not tune my bike because it might be faster than Miguel's Busa. It's already ran as fast as one of the 12R's he's tuned...and that 12R had a light head cleanup and cam timing adjustment... Mine is still untouched and running the same MPH as that 12R. Maybe I got a strong one?

Yes, we did have a lot of fun today, we have a lot of fun often. You should come down and ride with us one time....You still owe me that rematch. =)

oh, real world tuning is basically tuning your A/F ratio via a realtime datalogger that sniffs your a/f ratio and logs it while your riding in real world conditions with ram air and exact load being factored in. A dyno can not simulate these variables 100%...so they are generally not as accurate or as good for tuning as a realtime datalogger. Also, real world tuning relates to gearing, suspension, streamlining, and tires. You can tune a bike that makes 170rwhp on a dyno but runs like shit in the real world...or you can tune a bike in the real world that runs great yet doesn't make impressive #'s on a dyno.

For example, the Piped Busa I raced today and crushed by 10+ bikes in the 9/10th's was dynotuned by Jason at RPM...same place you get your work done. That bike ran like SHIT in the real world...yet put up some pretty 170rwhp #'s on Jason's dyno. If that bike had real world tuning...it would probably only make 167rwhp or so...but would run MUCH faster on the road. Which would you rather have? A pretty paper or a faster bike?

You've got to get into contact with THEICEMAN, he's the guy you need to talk to.

Hayazuki- I've been over 80mph in a Geo Metro......doesn't mean it's fast.

SLEEPERBUSA- I know ICEMAN doesn't run a stock airbox.... I also know he's not running the same airbox as you are.  8)

Cant be a mod of mine as I have never invented one. I did do what I called a medium box mod with a removeable Mustang filter but lots of bike with the large box mods have Mustang filters. I just figured a way to make it removable...which reminds I havnt cleaned in a looooong time. Now if your trying to give cryptic clues to a mod you swore secrecy to then you shouldnt have mentioned it in the first place should you? More likely a case of you playing the "I know better than you guys do'" philosophy we have come to expect from you.

Powerstroke- I gave cryptic referances to it because you guys keep asking me questions relating to it. If the person wants to share this with you..he will. Drop it.

Besides, why the hell would I want to help out the people that like nothing more than to kick me when I'm down?

You all can go phuck yourselves. The funniest part of all this...is that it's one of your own that won't even share this with you. What does that say about his perception of you all?

Phantom, NOW you know why I didn't waste my time coming down there to stomp YET ANOTHER ZX-12 set UP JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHER ONES I'VE STOMPED for the past several years.

Gotta give you credit though, you apparently DON'T have a big bore bike like I actually suspected all along. Your bike just simply wasn't anywhere near as strong as you thought it was. Pretty typical though. The majority of the guys I know who bought '12s just KNEW that they were getting the fastest motorcycle in the world, for whatever reasons.

THEY DIDN'T. PERIOD. END OF STORY.

Edit: Piped '12s simply destroy piped Busas.    Jesus Fucking Christ. Maybe some of the other fanatic Kawa queers will finally understand what a crock of shit that is and always was.

i dont have a perception of anyone, I just do my own research and testing.
Phantom has no idea  what the air box mod is !
i just said i have my own mod.
Miguels bike I should say has a very minor mod as rolando tried to do

As far as my 2002 black that bike was lowered 1.25 " all original equipment.

Guys, in all honesty....my piped 12R ran the same MPH as the best piped busa...it was just a matter of who got to the line first...in which case wasn't me. Doesn't say anything about the bike...just the rider.

Quote from: Phantom12
Plain and simple, I was outridden. Bike did just fine...the 12R ran identically as fast as the fastest piped Busa....I just didn't get to the finishline 1st..

Not really.  You see, acceleration through the gears is also part of the PERFORMANCE of a machine!  So even with the best rider, it might not ACCELERATE as fast up to top speed.  The acceleration is part of the equation of getting from point A to point B.  :P

You should have let THE ICEMAN jump on your 12 and race the other Busas ... that would have told you something.

Go get that bitch tuned and see if you do any better.

TOP TEN EXCUSES FOR TODAYS RACE

 10. Everyone knew the clutch was slipping.

  9. All of the Busas had opened engines, every one of em...

  8. Left the mirrors on the 12, that pulls it down 12-15 mph.

  7. Project 320 bike was more neutered than others.

  6. Beat? By a Busa, never happened...wasn't even there...honest....

  5. Did I mention the clutch slipping??

  4. Average Busa owners still just posers, 12's rule.

  3. Help me out here Jamie, buddy...

  2. Didn't really push it, could have destroyed the Busa, if he wanted to.

And the #1 excuse for losing to the bird of prey:

  1. Maybe that thumb over the waterhose trick was wrong!

Number 1 is absolutely hilarious!

Hey Phantom did you let Iceman ride your bike, since he's an awsome rider he could have proved that your bike will go faster than a busa with the same mods.

I give you credit for showing up and racing but all excuses are pitiful if your bike wasn't real world tunned that's your fault, and all the shit you talk about dyno numbers and you admit your bike is tunned for the dyno not the real world :duh:

And before you ask for my credentials I have never raced 9/10's or had a GPS on my bike but I have run 9.60/143 with my 260# ass
