99 TANK SWAP TO A 02 BIKE

I searched to see if anyone had asked about this before and did not find any information about it. I have a 02 black & blue busa that I have swapped the plastics over to the 99 copper and silver. I have the 99 tank and was wondering if anyone sells an adapter to install the internal fuel pump in the older tank.  the opening is smaller and I didn't know if it would even be possible. Or would it just be better to have a newer tank painted :?:

i would just get a 99-00 pump and mount it and you should be fine.
