'05 ZX-10R with 250 miles on it...

Why didn't I buy a new gixxer 1K?  Availability, and I like the styling of the Kawasaki a little better.  The performance difference (if ther really is a significant one) isn't really an issue since there's no way I can exploit all the 10R has to offer, so I certainly won't need anything more.

I didn't know 2  one pounders would fit under the seat of a 1000.

I use to have a 2# bottle in there and it had to be cut a little. I dont know if this allows the 2-1#s to fit but I think they would fit without modification.

I like the new forum
 :beechug:
Blur
I like the set up.  Looks good.  I have a 03 1000.  last year I was running 152hp on the motor with a ti force full system 197hp with nitrous.  I was running one 20oz bottle under the seat.  I was getting a bit of pressure drop though.  Fast as hell in the 1/8th, but kind of dropped off by the 1/4.  I was going to try to put two 20oz bottles in it and was pretty sure it would fit, but am going turbo now.  Great sleeper bike and bang for the buck with the nitrous.

Does anyone know or have experience in how much power the zx10 04 model puts out vs the latest 05 gixxer1000.

Same dyno comparision would be nice

THAY ARE ALMOST THE SAME
THE GIXXER AVERAGED ABOUT 3 MORE HP  BUT IT WILL COME DOWN TO HOW MUCH HP THE EACH GAINED ONCE THAY HAVE SOME MILEAGE
THE GIXXER MADE 156 WWITH NOT MANY MILES VS THE 10S 153
I LOOK TO GAIN BOUT 3-4 HP ONCE MORE MILES ARE ON IT
I THINK THE NEW 100 WILL MAKE BOUT 160 VSTHE 10S 156 (FULLY BROKEN IN)
BOTH BIKES ARE GREAT BIKES SO CHOOSE YER WEAPON
