It's about stripping a man of his crown... his helmet. Riding home with no helmet is a constant reminder that you just lost your ass. Not only that... it serves as a trophy... almost like a souvineer (SP?). You can look back and glance at the helmet in your garage and say, "That was a good race"

Same reason people mount the heads of animals that they've killed on their wall. It's a trophy.


The money will be spent... but the trophy helmet will put a smile on my face everyday.


It's also not bad having a spare helmet around... you never know when you or a friend might need one.

First of all, I think I've seen "Biker Boyz" like 1 time... and believe me, they didn't "make up" that $ + lid bet... street racers have been doing it since before any of us were born. Dates back to the cafe racers in London... not some movie a few years ago. Get a fucking clue....


This is how grudge matches have been settle for decades.... I'm only 21 and even I know that shit. Anyone who says it's "gay" or "homo" or "retarded" to race for $ and helmet obviously doesn't take racing even remotely seriously.

You get what you pay for... You race for nothing, you'll get nothing worth racing.

He is a good street racer and will give you a run if not beat you.  Seen him beat a 12 before that had waay more HP than his busa, guess its just old fashoined skill.

I've beaten a guy on a piped Busa and 60 shot.... yeah 230rwhp Busa ate the dust of not only MY 175rwhp ZX12R... but the dust of my friend's 183rwhp ZX12R who was racing along side us at the same time.


Owner specifically stated that he would be spraying on us.... after the race he stated that he let off because we were just too fast and he wasn't catching up.




I've raced a 235rwhp Turbo GSXR1000..... that's 20rwhp more than my bike now.... We hung dead even through the gears.





If I wanted to scare Ron away with $$... I would have made it a $5,000 bet + his bike. Not a measly $500 and his rinky dink helmet. If you can afford to make the trip from Huntsville, Alabama to Gainesville,FL... you can afford to cough up $500 and eat bugs on the way home. Besides, he already agreed to the bet....



For shits and giggles I searched some of ron's old posts.... just a week ago he was asking how much a dyno pull costed and if it was extra to get an A/F ratio.

Right then and there he proved how poorly his bike is tuned and how little he knows about tuning. If he has no clue what his A/F is at... he's dog meat and I'm willing to run him for any amount of $ he wants.


I almost died of laughter when I saw that post.... it just proved one of two things...


1. He's been racing some pretty bad riders...

2. He's been racing against even more poorly tuned bikes...





I don't expect him to know any better.... there can't be too much competition out in the sticks like there is in South Florida. I can go to the local hooters on any given bike night and see 15 different modded hayabusa's ranging from 350rwhp Velocity Turbo's to your average bone stocker. I doubt if there are 15 Busa's total in all of Alabama. I've raced enough to know how I stand.... and I like my chances.
