ticking noise in 00 busa

i just started hearing a ticking noise coming from the motor on my busa. it is rpm related, nothing changes with the clutch pulled in or out.  1st heard it after a pass at the track.  are these know for valve taps???  :7:
i'm planning on changing the oil(it needs it) and going from there?
any suggestions?

Exhaust leak? Cam chain? What area of the engine does it sound like it's coming from? Any change hot or cold?

Check to exhaust first. Make sure the header bolts are tight on the head.
