I replaced the stock oil with 90 wt and it really made a difference-the damper actually WORKS now. Now I just need to get the headlights adjusted.

the stock oil is like 15w (way too thin)
remove the set screw
plunge in and out to drain the fluid ( pottybrain)
use a turkey injector (a big syringe) to add the 90w oil
replace screw

done

Are you guys sure it's a good idea to replace stock oil with the thicker one? The resistance should only be noticeable during the tank slapper, not when you try to flip it with your hands.

So will this help when I am cresting a small hill at 160 mph and the front end  gets a high speed wobble as it touches down? I have been riding and racing for 20 years and still cant keep that from happening on my Busa

Best thing to do is adjustable GPR steering damper you can change the damping on the fly for drag, curves or street cost is around $300.00 but is wroth every penny. Just a thought
Some bikes are Show and no Go! but my  Busa is made to Show and GoGoGo!!!

Pump it enough to be sure you have all the air out - equally as important as using the heavier gear oil.

when you guys say '90wt oil', what kind of oil are you referring to? The only oil I've seen that's 90wt is gear oil.
