welp it was a stocker just shy of 50k when it took a poop.

spit #4 rod bearing, lucky nothing else was hurt  :thumb:
8 wets valves (need valve stem guides)
ruined the crank
cams had some flaking on 1 lobe, so I bought a set to replace them.

here's what's in my boxes right now, waiting to be molested.

New crank
Carrillo H-Beam Rods
JE Turbo Pistons w/big pins
Billet Shift Shafts
MCXpress Mech Sump (to run FULL OIL)
Dennis's 1/2" monster bolts

New hot side for the turbo, for testing purposes..  :vl:
50mm BOV still in the box
Piggy back Controller waiting on me to pay for it..
Will probably go h20/air, w/2ndaries if the standalone on large injectors doesn't pan out.

Body work is leaving for painters as soon as replacement cowl gets here this wk.
Wheels and frame are more then likely being done translucent blue (p/c)
Want to have arm modded 0-4, but unsure yet.

I cannot do didly to the motor till I find my manual, or get one on CD from someone-
looked for it today, and of course it is not in my CD case.  :cry:

Will manage I am sure, always do.

No not yet, haven't had time-
Just got the go ahead from the Mrs to get it running or bury it in the back yard.  :twisted: :wink:

I have the referral's from Dallas, from my post last month, just haven't followed through yet.

I don't know him personally but I've heard good things about Scott at Cyclewerkz in White Settlement.
He fixed a buddy of mines ZX-11 a couple of years ago and treated him fair.
You might try him.

When I return, hoping to get back on the motor, trying to finish by June 1st..

Should be here in about 4 wks or so..maybe 6.

Then I will have to order another set of bearings etc etc etc/ You guys know the drill.

Re-injured my back (remember my wreck in 02?) so things are a little on the slow side at this moment.
Making damn sure to nurse it back slowly and stuff.

Body work is being messaged on, preppin' for paint @ the Lexus Dealership.

Just waiting for the money tree to bud again  :lol:  :thumb:  :vl:

Slow Progress on the rebuild,  due to the recent storms (service Electrician)  :thumb:
Leaving Monday, for a trip around Texas doing Surveys and such for upcoming work.

Picked up the new Perfect crank (finally,,, is th 3rd one)....

Ordering bearings asap, then see where I am when they get here (oil clearance checks etc etc).

Hoping to have it all back together this year.... :? :shock:

Tank and inners are being finished in next week or two..

Then has to be installed for the color sand buff etc etc..

Slowly but surely, it is coming alive again.
