Good to see you arent baiting anyone, hook line and sinker!!!

What a list, will these guys see past the 260mph barrier this year or is there new blood ready to make an entrance?

Each "venue" has it's own characteristics and rewards.

Scott you and I may not be the best of friend's however you just nailed it 100% in the above quoted statement.

As you always say we must remember the historical past so please remove my name and move Jon's name where it belongs, when I went to my very first Bonneville event I stood on the trailor and was filming the starting line and the long waiting lines.  While filming Jon Minnono and Ed Mabry pulled up while I was capturing the moment on film and I said ladies and gentleman that right there (while focusing in on the twin engine Triumph of Ed's) is the worlds fastest open wheel bike in history, I went on to say that I want to hold that record and we (Michelle and I) were fortunate to get it in 2002 on the bike we sold you in 2004.
We then were able to get it back in Late 04 after Hank's OG beast took it (with Dennis riding it) and and left us in the # 2 position of top speed bikes at Bonneville.

The rider that I am most impressed by is Joe Amo, he is an animal when it comes to land speed racing, he has the most heart and desire to make it happen of any racer I know.

Good luck to all in 05 and I will work at getting Michelle up to speed now... :P
First sidecar over 200mph @ 218+ also the fastest ever record!
Fastest Open bike over a mile from 2005-2008 @ 259.393
Fastest NAKED record El Mirage @ 240+ come get some!
Fastest bike ever at ELMO 240.197  "NAKED BABY"
Congrats to Richard Assen 260.7

Yes Scott , the DLRA is yet to update the records after this years event which was held in March. You may of noticed there are many "blanks" next to variuos classes ?? this is basically because no body has ever contested the class.
Up until 2004 no motorbike ( open ) had ever been over 200mph . Pleased to say 3 Hayabusa's did.

We have along way to go before we reach the incredible speeds that the guys above have done and also at other venues in the USA.
