Chris I will give you a call. Maybe I can get someone that has a Vidcam on there bike and can be behind us when we start. This will be done during the day so we should be able to get some good shots.

Nick,

I volunteer to ride behind with the camera.  I am sure Scott (Speedraider) will be interested in attending also.

In a fast roll-on the Supra has a much better chance (than from a dead stop) for sure.  A Supra with 800~850 RWHP will have a tough time beating even a stock Busa in 60 mph roll-on.  Gauge it from there.

Get video recording (preferable from inside the Supra) ... only real way to prove anything.

Sorry - I love Busas - Have a turbo one at that - but an 850rwhp Supra from 60mph - will F@#K UP a stock busa ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. Wouldn't even be close. Would make a Busa it's Bitch

Hey Turdoblew! Why just bare witness?? How 'bout grabbing one of those bad ass generic modded 12's and backing up what ya said on the other thread? If it's true then you should be able to give this car a much better fight then any busa that went against walser.     Good way to start proving the world wrong if you so believe your right.

Robo...I think you are completely off base with that quote...I am not going to say the Busa would walk away, but it would be a good race. Power to weight ratio is fairly close I would say. Do we know if this certain Supra has over 800 HP?

Im sure Nicks 1500cc monster will do the job nicely, but sure... Ill bring a stock motored, piped 12 to this race.  What do I have to lose?  YOU ALREADY know ZX12s are slow... right?

I don't think a 850 RWHP Supra is going to “annihilate” a stock Busa from a 60 MPH roll-on, but it's gonna be a close race.

Here's a video clip of me (with near stock Busa) against TT C5 with 700 RWHP.

http://www.competitiond.com/180+.wmv

Pretty dead even race from 70 to about 160 mph.  A Supra weighs somewhat more than a C5, so some of the 150 extra RWHP would be "ate up" by the increased weight. IMO, a Supra needs at least 800~850 RWHP to be even or maybe take (by a small margin) a bone stock Busa.
