Maxton runway question
« on: May 23, 2005, 07:51:16 PM »
Does anyone have the exact compass heading of the maxton course? I am watching the wind maps but since I dont remember the course heading it is doing me little good.

Thanks

Don

Don,

Runway runs north/south...We run from S to N. Typical winds are WNW..meaning 3/4 headwinds...

We pray for a south wind.....

Oh mighty gods of the wind, may your direction of gentle breezes gently blow from the south next weekend.  Your tailwinds would be greatly appreciated. :beechug:

There is a link on the ECTA website to real time weather conditions:

http://www.wunderground.com/US/NC/Maxton.html

I'm going to try to make it there this weekend and hitch a ride on a showroom production stock CBR1000RR.
