i am the guy that made the 24 passes and my tire just barely passed inspection . there wasnt much tread left at the inspection so it didnt take much to wear it out

So if I put a new tire on before the event it should last the weekend?

Thanks --

What kind of tire do you use  too?

when i would launch, i would get to rolling and then nail it. i didnt try to spin the tire but i had around 176 hp. and  being that the tire was well worn it didnt take much to wear it out, i would think with a good tire  you shouldnt have any problems.  i started running as soon as they opened it up for runs and i was the last person to run that day. i would make a pass and go right back around and make another pass. i only stopped for gas and to eat.

No worries on the tire unless yours is already looking thin.
If you stay both days at the Mile you might max out at 15
and maybe 24 runs, depending on any problems they may
have. :D  :D  :D

Yep, that was me. Getting airshifter on and hoping for 200 this time. :)

     24 Runs

Guess filling up nos takes a little more time than I thought.

It is a lot of fun, After 24 runs how did your tire hold out?

My tire has been to the drags once and three mile runs and still looks good. I may retire it after the Oct. event and maybe take it to a track
day to scuff on the sides.

Hope to see you out again, you were putting up some impressive numbers if I remember correctly. Was it upper 180's or low 190's?

If you put a little 40 dry shot I bet you could hit 200 or be real close and
still not wear that back tire much.

Should have got a busa, but am happy with 12. It's my weekend bike
for Central Texas hill country. So that back tire has at least a couple
thousand miles on it too and I am no light weight at 250lbs.
