How are you guys doing the crank trigger?

OEM? Or some kind of modification / add-on? (especially on 2001 and older models).

I have used both the schnitz trigger converter & the FBG outboard trigger with a 2 magnet rotor to work with the Autronic.

I've looked into the FBG option...way out of my price range.

Today I think I figured out an alternative...as long as it's cheaper than replacing the stator with a newer 24-1 version.

I'm going to price out having a machine shop add notches to the existing stator to create a 24-1 ring of teeth (or 16-1 if there isn't enough space).
