I will be there for the June 25-26 meet.  I should be picking up my 1290 ZX12R from Lee next weekend if all goes well.

I Had planed to finsih up my bike this Sunday when it is cooler and then go to Virginia to get some Dyno Tuning. I then called Bergie's Least favorite person only to find that the Building has been sold and they have to move and the new place has no room for the DYNO!

So now, I have to go to Cockeysville and pay a lot more money than planned at a Time I had not planned also. They do good work, but just more junk to deal with! I hate to need to convince people to set my bike up at 12.8 as opposed to 13.2 (Just things like that!)

:(:(:(

I realy think you will surprise yourself and come closer than you think to 210  .

Those Nos bottles like the heat :1: . Back when we ran in march we actually had a little problem with the cooler weather and our Nos bottles. Who would have figured that for Texas. We usually pull them out of the ice box and let them warm up in the sun a little. Unfortunetly they were down on pressure a touch, but we did not want to overfill them.

Just curious where do you have your bottle mounted? I had mine hanging way out on the passenger foot peg (great bling affect  ). I am making a bracket to snug it up a little behind my leg. Hope snuging the bottle, lowering it a couple inches, and an airshifter will get me an extra 4.26mph.  (but I here that every mph in this range is very hard to get  :( )

GOOD LUCK AT MAXTON :thumb:

Right under the tail section where I am turning it on in this picture :D Over the Summer, I plan to go to a 5 Pound Bottle.

The problem with the heat is Old People cannot deal with the Heat

Cool, I always wondered where it was hidden. Great aerodynamic placement. Do you think a 5#er is enough though? I think with my little 70HP shot I had gone through at least 50%-60% of the useable 2.5# bottle. I am sure you have at least double the shot I have. Can not wait to here how you all run.

I here ya about the heat, went over to a friends warehouse shop and played with a couple Busa's. Was spent that evening  . I think it was probably only in the upper 90's outside.
Don't know how my dad was able to do the things he did. He would even ware me out back when I was in my mid twenties, and I was no slacker.

Thanks! When People are in their 40's, everyone says that they are Young. When they are in theor 50's and Die, people say "They were Young". But when people are in their 60's and even die, all they say is "He lived a Pretty good life"!

SO 1 day difference between 59 and 60 turned me "Old" :D

For You   (and at one time when People only lived to be 50 to 60) It is not about you or me :D it is everyone. Plus if you are as Old as you feel, then I was about 94 last week when it was 100 degrees and now that it is in the 70's I am back to late 60's early 70's. Wait until you get to this age and your mind is about 17 and Body 90. Very Frustrating :(

I just spent "ALL" Day on the Dyno. For some strange reason, every Cell was very lean and as DOug Ray and DOug Meyer Know, it takes a while to remap from "ZERO"!

I was surprised because I felt that the Muzzy pump would have made it richer but maybe my Bypass Regulator and mod made it leaner.

The Bypass did what it was supposed to "NO LEAN Spikes period" Still not dialed in perfect but I have about 270 Clean HP and know how to get about 20 to 30 more and not even be close to trouble. The EGT was in the mid to high 1,200 degrees and only the last run did it hit 1,300 so I have a little more to go before I hit 1,350 degrees which is (As far as I know) still in the safe zone)

Apology to Doug Ray because I saw what he saw but on another bike. "7" Hp more by being lean at 14 to 1 as opposed to 13.5 or 13.1 to 1. I had to see this for myself but I saw it on my own bike!

Congratulations VH, with 270-300 rwhp you should put down some serious speed this weekend!  Good luck!

100% chance you'll break 200 MPH with that level of power.

The weather looks promising, so just aim and pull the trigger.

I'd bet that 2nd pass down the track you will go 205+.  I say 2nd pass because I'm assuming you'll make one "shakedown" all-motor pass.  If I know you, that's what you'll do.

On your first nitrous pass, try concentrating on a clean run and spray only 6th gear!  Even at +80 jetting you'll scoot well past 200 mph.  The best advice ever given to me was "run it like it's all motor" and "forget the nitrous" because if you're thinking about it or worrying about it you're not doing what you're supposed to be doing- riding!

have you considered contacting DaveO about a wideband datalogger
then you will not ever have to pay for mapping again and you don't get to argue with the tuner
(unless you argue with yourself in which case I am scared LOL)

I TRULY Appreciate the good thought everyone has been giving me by the Board, PM and E-mails. I was thingking about something I said and Bergie's response to it . (2 ways to make 310 HP. Buld the engine to the max and make 210 HP and spray 100 Shot or make a very conservative engine making 160 HP and spray 150 SHot) I just realized that the person with the 210 motor WILL Go faster because he will be accelerating a lot faster with 50 more hp before he hits the spray. I am actually a little nervous about this because I always swim against the current and have succeeded. This time it has taken me several years to even get to this point and I sure do not want to dissapoint myself let alone anyone else.

I hate the heat and it takes away NA Hp and helps the spray. SO we will see what we see. That Poor Bike   Hauling 1/8 ton down a runway made at a time when I was also being Made :D:D (We both look to be in about the same shape also :D:D a lot of scars and pieces missing)
