Need 1070 head gasket , who makes them ??

I need a .040 head gasket for a GSXR 1000 +3mm . I have had one on order at cometic for a month .... going nuts waiting . Anyone have one or know where I can get one ??

I would trr calling KWS,Cycle Concepts,  or Lee's peformance. Might luck out and find one there.

get your self 2 of them so you have a extra just in case.  :D
I had to wait a few months to get some so now I always keep a spare on hand.
The spares I have are for stock bore though.  I just sold my spare high comp one to a friend and have a spare low compression one for my turbo motor.

No kidding ... None anywhere . Tried KWS , Lee's , APE . I could get thin ones but not what I needed . Going to order a spare right away .

I have the .030" gaskets at JE however if you need it custom from Cometic call them and tell them you need it red..they will make it sooner and ship it to you Red UPS..

Thanks for the help John . I have spoke to you on the phone I'm pretty sure . I needed help on what to ask for when I ordered my pistons . I ended up getting a custom set of FSR forgings , 13/1 a while ago . I will call and ask , everything is together other than the headgasket ... getting really anxious to hear it run .

I called and ordered another gasket by Johns instructions . I was told 2 days to make and it would be overnighted after that . Not holding my breath yet but hope it arrives . The motor I'm building is a 01 1K . It has +3mm by Millenium , JE FSR 13/1 , Carillo H beams , Falicon basket , NPS powerhead ( porting , +1mm intake valves , Yosh keepers , new 750 springs , Serdi valve job ) and a set of Web 540/566 cams . Should be fun I hope .
